Central Daylight Time (Chicago, GMT-05:00)

Duration:

1 hour

Description:

The webinar will cover the prediction of fuel-economy and emissions using a hybrid backward-facing vehicle level model developed in Simulink. The webinar will cover the modeling approach and the effect of various Tier 1 components such as transmission efficiency, final drive ratio, wheel size and engine accessory loads on a given drive cycle.
One of the key differentiators of this vehicle level model (among the many that are already available in the marketplace) is the pre-populated data for small cars, medium duty and Class 8 trucks.  With over a decade of experience, CSEG combines proprietary correlations along with public domain data to populate the model with representative data when user does not have the actual data for certain components. This enables the vehicle level model to be significantly less data hungry than any other tool. The vehicle level model is also highly flexible allowing the user to match the level of detail of a component to the data available.
This is a must attend if you are a Tier 1 supplier or a Chief Engineer at an OEMs looking to rapidly evaluate the best architecture.
